The Honey Brook Fire Company Ambulance Association is currently accepting
applications for full-time and part-time Emergency Medical Technicians. We are
looking for self motivated individuals who continually maintain personal knowledge and
skills in order to deliver optimum patient care as an EMT.
Minimum Requirements for Employment:
• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Twenty-one years of age or older
• Current PA DOH EMT-B, EVOC, PHTLS or BTLS certifications.
• NIMS 100,200,700 & 800 and HAZ-MAT Awareness
• Valid drivers license
• A minimum of three (3) years experience as a 911 Pre-hospital Provider.
Other Requirements:
• Demonstrate evidence of proficiency in the required BLS skills. Must have
thorough current knowledge of medical traumatic assessments, treatment and
protocols.
• Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relations
with fellow employees, hospital staffs, ALS units, fire units, rescue squads,
police departments, neighboring BLS units and the general public.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to handle conflict situations utilizing good judgment,
professionalism and courtesy.
