RICHMOND TWP., Pa. - September 18, 2009 (WPVI) -- Firefighters in Berks County had their hands full after a controlled burn got out of hand.

Crews meant to burn down a structure on Locust Lane in Richmond Township.

But the flames grew, and spread to two neighboring homes.

Nobody was hurt, and the damage was minor.

Firefighters say the controlled burn was meant to demolish the old home.
