I need some help in regards to a Edgemont apparatus question:
I stumbled upon a nice photo of a 1970's International 1300D/ ? brush truck - painted all red - Edgemont truck #3.
I know it was gone by 1981 when they got the jeep.
Never mentioned in any of their histories.
Need some info on this please.
Many thanks,
Bruce

In 1978 – it was donated to the Excelsior Hose Co. of Duryea (Luzerne County) when their firehouse was destroyed by fire on 1/10/78. In 1981 it was sold to the Duryea Auto Parts & Salvage. Sold by them in 06/09 to East Cameraon (Northumberland County).

It has been awhile since I have posted any updates on apparatus. Listed below are some recent transactions and happenings. If anyone has anything else, please post.
Many thanks,
Bruce
DELAWARE COUNTY
TINICUM TWP. Ordered a Emergency One quint, 100 ft straight ladder, 2000/500, rollup doors, is a demo, but still being built, hope to have by end of the year. Sold the 1993 Emergency One Hurricane quint to Command Fire Apparatus of Lancaster.
SPRINGFIELD Took delivery of their Sutphen rescue-engine on 9/12, un lettered.
LLANARCH Took delivery of their 2009 GMC utility – needs lettering & emergency lighting done.
LEEDOM Their 1986 Ford C8000/Emergency One rescue-engine was placed back into service on 9/4/09 after getting repaired from it’s accident 4 months ago.
GARDEN CITY On 8/5/09 they placed into service a Ford F350 Super Duty/ /FastLane, crew cab, open compartmented utility body as Utility 65.
COLLINGDALE #2 They are trying to sell their 1982 Pierce Arrow engine (ex. Sharon Hill) on E-Bay now.
GARRETTFORD In 2008, they converted a 1995 Jeep Cherokee from a chief’s ride to a traffic unit.
MORTON/RUTLEDGE The companies consolidated into Morton’s station on 9/5 in preparation of their merger – suppose to be getting a new pickup, will take the skid unit out of Utility 11 – will keep the old unit. Morton has a agreement of sale for the 1984 Sutphen engine, ex. Springfield (Delaware County) to be purchased by Milmont (Delaware County) – will not happen till January – being purchased out of relief.
ASTON-BEECHWOOD Their 1995 Spartan/Luverne engine went to Marco of Honey Brook on 8/18 to start it’s rehab which includes a total paint job, new emergency lighting and rear chevrons, and updates to the electrical system. Hope to have back in mid October.
GLENOLDEN I hear that they sold the Seagrave engine - what is Green Ridge using now ?

Green Ridge is now using Morton/Rutledge's 11-2, which is the Sutphen that i think their selling to Milmont. It's on Green Ridge's website.

I thought I saw somebody someplace ask about the status of Tac 69 (Lima)
The Tac is in and as of an hour ago, was at Dean Keyes's tow yard. It was brought there by flatbed and as soon as the Chief and Chief Engineer are done work, they will pick it up and drive it to the firehouse.
I stopped and shot some photos, but I am not sure how to upload them here.
Gonna try to figure it out.
