Does anyone know of any companies that sell Adjustable and or pull out shelving for fire apparatus?

We would like to do the installs on our own to try and save some money.

So far I have found ziamatic has some brackets that will let you use plywood as shelves.

On Scene Solutions has some pull out shelves.

We mainly don’t need pull out shelves but adjustable would be nice. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Jason

For setting up shelves that can be adjusted up and down, Unistrut is what is most commonly used by apparatus builders.  Unistrut is a brand name and I believe that there are competetive products out there.  But it's one of those names that is so common that it's used generically.

Unistrut has many uses including in the building trades.  The last time I wanted to buy any I found an electrical supply house in Lansdale that is an outlet for that company.  County Electric Supply Co., 1111 N. Broad St., Lansdale, (215) 368 1960

It's easy to install and use.  It comes in aluminum and steel.  They made it in stainless steel at one time but I don't know if they do anymore.  I have one small piece of it left from a job I did on our '89 Quality Duplex.  At that time Unistrut had their own store in King of Prussia which is where I got the stainless.  I was told at the time that the stainless was being discontinued and that I had gotten the last of it.

It does take up some bulkhead space, so your shelves will not be the full width or depth of the compartment.

County Electric and Unistrut both have web sites that you can use to look up their stuff.

While i found unistruts web site and see the products, I dont see anything on their website for shelf's, just what I would think would be the supports on the side, or am I looking at the wrong area?

May be looking in the wrong area.  I haven't pulled their site up recently.  Give me an e-mail address, I'll send you pictures of what we've done in addition to what the truck manufacturers did.  Or come by our station and I'll show it to you.  Bryn Athyn Fire Co., Montgomery Co. Station 11.  I even have a piece with the mounting nuts that you can use as a sample.

If any of your engines have adjustable hose bed dividers, they're probably on Unistrut, so you can look at it there.  Just visualize the same stuff vertically on a compartment bulkhead.
