Modena Fire Company is offering up for sale by sealed bid our 1996 GMC National Traffic unit. Sealed bids marked "Traffic 37" will be opened at our regular monthly company meeting on Monday, December, 14, 2009.

Specifications as follows:
1996 GMC Chassis with National Ambulance Body walk thru
GMC 6.5 turbo diesel 4x4
Power Windows.
Power Door Locks.
Red/White Exterior.
Grey Interior.
All emergency lights and sirens will remain on the vehicle
Front/ Rear switch consoles
1000 watt inverter
Front/Rear Arrow Sticks
Inspected August 2009 good till August 2010
New brake pads, rotors in August of 2009.
New battery's in August of 2009.
Current Mileage: 41,700

This unit was purchased by the company in 1996 as an ambulance, in 2003 it was taken out of service and converted into a Traffic unit which it has served the company well since.

The unit will be taken out of service around December 1st after the arrival of our new unit.

This unit could be converted back to an Ambulance with very little work.
Terms and Conditions:
The company is hoping to get $20,000 but is putting out for bid and will turn over the unit to the winner with the highest bid All bids must be received by Monday, December, 14, 2009 at 6pm.

Winner has five (5) days to complete the transaction and remove the vehicle from the property.
Winner must pay by cash or approved check in full before taking possession of vehicle.
Modena Fire Company does not provide any type of warranty on this vehicle or it equipment.
Modena Fire Company has the right to reject any and all submitted bids.
