Double Fatal Four Alarm Dwelling Fire - Springfield Twp

CP-21 reported heavy fire showing from a a 2-1/2 story S/F/D with people trapped. All companies in service with search and rescue. Command requested the second alarm struck. Crews were able to remove two victims from the dwelling however a third victim was still inside the dwelling.
Had heavy fire through out, additional tankers requested to assist.
Due to heavy fire conditions the third alarm was struck and the evacuation tones were sounded.
The third victim was located DOA on inside the dwelling.
The fourth alarm was requested for manpower and relief.

B/C-4 had smoke showing from a 10 story vacant building, 100x150. Placed 2&2 in service for the investigation. Interior crews located several rubbish fires on several floors. The buildings stand pipe system was out of service so crews hoisted a 3" line up the exterior of the building to supply hand lines. Used all hands on the box.
