Chief-5 arrived on scene with heavy fire on the second floor of a two story S/F/D. Command requested the box struck and placed all hands in service. Multiple hand lines placed in service as fire burned through the roof.

Units arrived on scene with heavy smoke showing from a two story S/F/D with people trapped. Crews went in service with fire suppression and search and rescue. They located a deceased male on the interior and an unconscious female. The female victim was removed from the dwelling and flown via medical helicopter to a trauma center. The was pronounced at the hospital.
The State Police Fire Marshal is investigating the fire.

FM244-5 arrived on scene reporting smoke showing from the attached garage of S/F/D. AC9 (Molle) then reported heavy smoke showing from the dwelling and established Penndel Command, advised E8 to pick up the hydrant in front of the dwelling and go i/s with a 2" handline. L31 ,SQ13 , E7 , E21 , R9 (RIT) were being utilized . Medic units were checking the condition of the homeowner. Middletown Twp FMO is handling the investigation.
