At Approximately 6:11 PM, Task Force 202 along with Station 241 & 809 were dispatched to 509 North Randolph Ave for a reported dwelling fire. Central advising incoming units that the caller stated there was a dryer fire that was extending into the room. One of the ambulances was quickly O/L reporting heavy some from the Rear/Division 2. All Companies In Service placed by Battalion 2020 (I believe). E2411's crew and RE2013's crew both stretched lines into the dwelling knocking the bulk of the fire on the first floor within 10 minutes. The fire was already in the void spaces of the balloon frame dwelling extending into Divisions 2 & 3. Ladder 801, RIT 232, RIT 312, and a Cascade were dispatched to the scene. Squirt 313, Ladder 701 called in to cover Station 202 but were soon called into the scene on reduced speed. Station 11-5 sent to cover Station 801. After the fire was quickly knocked down; the ventilation process was beginning. Covers were reassigned to Station 202: Ladder 101, Engine 311. Engine 3112 was called into the scene to complete the overhaul process.
