Chief-45 C-45 on scene with fire in a kitchen in the rear of 2-1/5 dwelling. One elderly woman jumped out of her bedroom window on the second floor resulting in injuries. EMS treated and transported the victim to the hospital. Crews from Rescue 45 laid 600 feet of 5" supply line and stretched 1 3/4" line to knock the fire. Crews from Ladder 45 ventilated and laddered the dwelling. Rescue 3 responded as RIT, and E73, TW 80 and E35 covered stations 45 & 55. Firefighters rescued numerous cats from the building, and encountered heavy debris and even more cats (around 15) running loose in the dwelling, and command requested the SPCA to the scene.

Fire was quickly knocked down. FM-252 condemned the building and began an investigation.
