Battalion 2 and Engine 9’s arrival they reported they had a 2 story Garden Style Apartment complex with heavy fire showing. Battalion 2 requested the All Hands, bringing Squad 7, Battalion 1, and Car 4 (Safety). Crews made access into the apartment and encountered heavy fire conditions both on the 1st and 2nd floor. Engine 9’s Captain reported that the stairs had burned away, and requested a 20’ ladder into the apartment.& nbsp; Battalion 2 requested Ladder 1 to prepare to go into operation with their ladder main on the Charlie Side of the building. Within minutes Battalion 2 requested the 2nd alarm struck, bringing Engines 6, 1, Ladder 2, and Car 3. Within approx. 40 minutes of the arrival the fire was placed under control. Currently the fire is under investigation by the Camden City FM office and the Camden City PD Arson Unit.
