The Brookhaven Fire Company has taken delivery of a 2008 Smeal Sirius 75' Tandem axle Quint. Quint 52 as it is designated, has a Spartan cab that can seat up to 8 Firefighters. It has a 2000gpm Hale pump with a 600 gallon tank and a 1250gpm monitor mounted on the ladder. Also it has (2) pre-connected 1 3/4" as well as (2) 2 1/2 pre-connected blitz fire lines. The truck is equipped with 125 ft of ground ladders. A 15Kw Harrison generator, full LED warning light package as well as a LED lighted aerial and other truck company equipment. This truck replaces a E-One Telesqurt that was sold to Highland Township Vol. Fire Company in Elk County, Pa. Thanks to Joe Bynum and Dave Montella and the rest of the officers and members of the Brookhaven Fire Company for allowing us to do this feature on the new quint.
