The Garden City Fire Company of Nether Providence Township, PA recently took delivery of a 2008 Pierce Lance 105’ heavy duty ladder truck with seating for up to 10 firefighters. The truck is Powered by a 550hp Detroit Diesel engine. The truck features a Code 3 lighting package, Dual Roto Rays,12 Vulcan scene lights, a Pre connected 2 ½ Blitz Fire line in the bumper compartment and a very advanced safety system that includes a aerial collision avoidance system along with rear chevrons. This truck is replacing a 1994 Pierce Lance Ladder which was sold earlier in the summer to Huntingdon PA station 5.
