The Williamstown Fire Department in Gloucester County New Jersey, just received a new Tower 2916. The new Tower is a 2008 Pierce Velocity 100 ft RM Ladder Tower. Tower 2916 features a Detroit Diesel 550 hp motor, Allison Transmission, 300gallon water tank,2000gpm pump. It also features Pierce Roll Over Protection and Air Bags. This unit replaces a 1983 Simon Duplex LTI 100 ft Tower that served the department well. The new Pierce was sold by Ed Miller from Fire and Safety Services. I would like to thank Chief James Dehart III,Felix Vitale and Ed MacDonald from Williamstown Fire Department for their assistance with this feature.
